Through smart tax strategies, I help employers save money while funding valuable benefits for their employees. I also have the privilege of training and supporting agents across the country, empowering them to build successful careers in the industry.

When I’m not working with clients or mentoring agents, I’m spending time with my wife of over 20 years and our two teenage boys. I love coaching basketball, cooking, dining out, and catching live concerts whenever I can. And as a Minnesota Vikings fan for over 30 years, I’ve mastered the art of hope, patience, and believing that this could finally be the year.

With decades of experience in the insurance industry, Nathan Wieler brings a deep understanding of life and supplemental insurance, working with both individuals and businesses to create strategic solutions. In addition to his expertise in insurance, he has an extensive background in land development, technology, design, branding, and startups, giving him a unique perspective on building and scaling businesses. Originally from the East Coast, Nathan is a die-hard Buffalo Bills fan who now calls Northern California home. When he’s not working, you’ll likely find him embracing the outdoors, whether it’s skiing down fresh powder or exploring new landscapes. His passion for innovation and adventure carries over into his work, where he’s committed to providing expert guidance and forward-thinking strategies through Nestled Insurance.

I started my career in the supplemental insurance space back in 2006.  This has allowed me to sit with many clients while doing the claims paperwork to help them during their time of great need, physical, emotional, and financial need.  We serve the employees first and foremost with great insurance coverage, but we also work very closely with employers and payroll people do all of this as smoothly as possible!

Our programs use payroll and tax strategies to ensure as many people are covered as possible, so we can be there for them when the time comes.  All of this can be done while saving the employer money in several different ways.  

When I'm not in the field or in the office you might find my wife and I at a sporting event or concert, hanging with our grown children, participating in our church or up enjoying the beauty of the Colorado mountains

I was born and raised in Carson City, NV, surrounded by the beautiful Nevada landscape, along with my mom, dad, and two sisters. I headed to the University of Nevada, Reno, where I earned a full-ride scholarship for Track and Field and Cross Country – Go Pack!

Balancing athletics and academics taught me discipline and perseverance, which served me well as I pursued my Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After graduating in 2001, I traded the sagebrush for the sunshine of Orange County, CA, and began my 20-year career in public and forensic accounting.

All the while, the entrepreneurial bug was nipping at my heels. And then, while pregnant with my third daughter, I had a truly "ah ha" moment in a busy public restroom. Bending over, searching for feet under the stall, I thought, "There has to be a better way!" That sparked the idea for Peep No More, the first and only automatic & hands-free occupancy indicators for public restroom stalls that can be seen from a distance.

Taking my handmade prototype to a group of mechanical engineers in Reno was a pivotal moment, and seeing Peep No More installed in places like Disneyworld and venues across the US and Canada has been incredibly rewarding.

Recently, I've also embarked on a career in Health & Life Insurance, driven by a passion to help people make healthier choices and navigate the often-confusing world of healthcare. It's a privilege to help people take control of their well-being as well as provide additional revenue to businesses and additional benefits to their employees.
